As a Security Officer - Retail Foot Patrol in Anaheim, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. Your role involves providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to visitors and staff, contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible presence.
• Assist guests, employees, and/or visitors with general inquiries and directions as needed.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or incidents to management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support access control protocols by monitoring entry and exit points as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with retail staff and law enforcement when necessary to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
