As a Security Officer - Unarmed Retail Patrol Driver in Anaheim, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to create a secure environment at a busy retail location. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and maintain open communication with clients and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring you to use your keen observation and communication skills while on patrol. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and report any unusual activity.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or concerns to Allied Universal and/or site management as required.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior within the retail environment.
• Support loss prevention efforts by being attentive to suspicious activities and reporting them promptly.
• Document all incidents and activities in accordance with company and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
