PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $169,200.00-$206,700.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $131, $244,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.
BENEFITS
Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:
As the Director, District Retail Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in driving BECU's strategic objectives across multiple financial centers. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering service excellence, membership growth, and financial performance. You will inspire and develop large teams, ensuring they are aligned with BECU's mission and values. Your efforts will directly contribute to the operational excellence and talent development within your district, making a significant impact on both the organization and the community.
This role supports the North Seattle and Peninsula branches: Ballinger, Lynnwood, Shoreline, Lake City Square, Northgate, Ravenna, Ballard, Greenwood, Wallingford, Bainbridge, Gig Harbor, and Silverdale.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead with Integrity: Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU Competencies, compliance, regulatory, and Information Protection requirements.
- Strategic Implementation: Understand and translate BECU's overall strategy into actionable plans for each financial center and community.
- Cultivate Leadership: Provide and nurture team leadership characterized by professional expertise, care, and conduct, ensuring excellent service to Credit Union members.
- On-Site Engagement: Frequently visit financial centers to lead and develop Financial Center Managers, ensuring adherence to outlined processes and routines.
- Service Standards: Manage and monitor service level standards to ensure they are consistently met.
- Team Development: Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to team members, conducting regular evaluations and feedback sessions.
- Talent Pipeline: Identify and develop key talent to support the talent pipeline, fostering a collaborative and empowering environment.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor productivity measures and ensure defined sales, production, and retention goals are met.
- Financial Planning: Develop and submit operating plans and budgets, including compensation projections, for approval.
- Policy Recommendations: Recommend policy or procedure changes to enhance service or processes for internal or external customers.
- Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, business operations, or related field, or equivalent work or educational experience.
- Minimum seven years of experience in leading teams and eight years of experience in the financial industry.
Desired Qualifications:
- Multi-site leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience in building and coaching high-performance teams.
- Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations applicable to the Member Solutions function.
- Ability to assess and implement organizational changes.
- Excellent planning skills, financial acumen, and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive consensus.
