Resident Manager, Harbor Village

Harbor Village Apartments is seeking an experienced resident manager for a 90-unit, six-story, mid-rise tower situated above three levels of parking and two levels of commercial space near to Honolulu Harbor and centrally located. This is a full-time position reporting to the Property Manager. The ideal candidate will have initiative and proactively find solutions to issues facing Harbor Village and its residents, demonstrate strong interpersonal and communications skills, be flexible, have a "can-do" attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with residents, tenants, vendors, neighbors, and the property manager.

Duties include but are not limited to managing preventive maintenance repairs for the projects common areas, building, parking , elevator, grounds, recreation area, regular interaction with the residents to proactively address their concerns with a sense of urgency and professionalism, providing oversight over the projects security systems, and proactively identifying opportunities and providing recommendations to the property manager on projects to reduce operating expenses while maintaining the value of the property.

Requirements:

  • Prior residential manager experience required

  • Experience with managing building repairs and maintenance vendors

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Compensation:

  • Salary

    • Use of Resident Manager's 1 Bedroom / 1 Bath unit, including rent, electricity, internet, and 1 parking stall
