Full-Time | $65,000–$75,000 per year

G.LION Hawaii is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our Front-of-House leadership team. Our group operates some of Honolulu's most well-known dining destinations, including Hy's Steak House and the food and beverage outlets at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach. This position plays an important role in guiding service standards, supporting daily operations, and helping shape the guest experience across one or more of our locations.

This is an opportunity to work within both a classic, long-established fine dining environment as well as a modern luxury setting, contributing to the growth and consistency of each.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with culinary and beverage leaders to deliver memorable guest experiences tailored to each outlet.
  • Lead and coach front-of-house employees, ensuring clear communication, teamwork, and high standards of service.
  • Support staff development through scheduling, evaluations, and hands-on guidance.
  • Build guest rapport and represent the company with warmth and professionalism.
  • Monitor financial and operational performance, assisting with planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a manager who is comfortable in a dynamic environment and committed to maintaining an elevated level of hospitality. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a genuine appreciation for guest service are essential.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant management experience
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • Experience with POS platforms such as Aloha or Micros
  • Understanding of inventory procedures, cash handling, and basic financial reporting
  • Background in both fine dining and casual service is helpful
  • Ability to work alongside kitchen and service teams to support smooth execution
  • Japanese language ability is beneficial but not required
