Overview

G.LION Hawaii is looking for a Restaurant Manager who leads with heart, humility, and a deep sense of hospitality. Our restaurants welcome guests from all over the world, and we rely on leaders who can bring out the best in their teams while honoring the spirit of aloha in every interaction.

This role is hands-on and relationship-driven. You'll guide the flow of the dining room, support our culinary and beverage teams, and nurture a culture where service feels warm, genuine, and consistent. If you enjoy mentoring others, creating memorable guest moments, and contributing to both classic and contemporary dining environments, we would be glad to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and thoughtful guest care.
  • Work side-by-side with chefs and beverage leadership to elevate the experience in each outlet.
  • Lead with aloha while coaching, training, and inspiring your team to grow.
  • Support scheduling, staff development, and clear communication across departments.
  • Build lasting guest relationships through warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Assist with financial responsibilities including planning, forecasting, and operational review.
  • Maintain standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant management experience
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of POS systems
  • Familiarity with inventory control, cash handling, and service systems
  • Experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality is a plus
  • Ability to support both service and kitchen operations
  • Japanese language skills welcomed but not required

Compensation & Benefits

  • $65,000–$75,000 annual salary
