The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grandville that are seeking skilled Quality Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS). Oversee all product quality control and assurance activities from raw material to finished goods. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances. Manage supplier quality, including audits and performance monitoring. Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes and product quality. Manage and mentor the quality assurance team. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field. 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment. Expertise in implementing and maintaining quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis). Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing quality teams. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for advanced data analysis Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 or a relevant industry-specific standard (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100) Experience with advanced quality planning tools such as APQP and PPAP Job Titles That Should Apply Quality Manager, QA Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Director of Quality, Head of Quality, Senior Quality Manager, Quality Control Manager, Quality Systems Manager, Manager, Quality and Compliance Why Pivot Group The Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
