The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grandville that are seeking skilled Quality Technicians. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records, including non-conformance reports.
- Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action processes.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality deviations.
- Conduct product and process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the calibration program for measurement and test equipment, ensuring accuracy and validity.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) principles and practices (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Experience performing visual, in-process, and final product inspections and tests.
- Strong basic math skills and ability to accurately collect, record, and analyze data.
- ASQ Certification (e.g., CQT, CQIA)
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with CMM programming and operation
