Executive Assistant

Join a dynamic small family-owned company as an Executive Assistant, where you will provide high-level support directly to the CEO. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities within a company that manufactures and distributes high-temp adhesives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the CEO's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Maintain and update itineraries for internal meetings.
- Screen and prioritize incoming emails, calls, and correspondence.
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
- Prepare or assist with meeting agendas, attend meetings, and record minutes.
- Ensure the CEO is well-prepared for all meetings with necessary notes, materials, and information.
- Follow up on action items resulting from meetings.
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal team members and selected external vendors and clients.
- Coordinate and organize special projects as directed by the CEO.
- Prepare correspondence to internal team and to outside clients/vendors as needed and directed.
- Keep the CEO organized by proactively managing tasks and responsibilities.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in calendar management and administrative support.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office and Excel, including Pivot Tables, V Look Ups, and Filtering.
- 5+ years of executive admin experience.
- Strong skills in Outlook, Calendaring, Executive support, and Event coordination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in C-suite environments.
- Ability to work with executive-level management.
Work Environment:
The role is based in a small family-owned company located in Brooklyn, near Sunset Park. The Executive Assistant will work on the 2nd floor with the administration team, alongside AP, accounting, customer service, finance, and sales departments. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY. Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
