Grand Cru Liquid Assets is a luxury fine wine brokerage firm specializing in rare, collectible, and investment-grade wines. We serve discerning wine collectors and investors worldwide with a white-glove approach to sourcing, service, and provenance assurance.
As our company continues to grow with new client acquisition, rising order volume, and expanding fine wine inventory, we are seeking to strengthen our CRM and retention infrastructure to support this momentum.
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced HubSpot CRM & Retention Marketing Specialist to support our marketing operations and sales team with advanced HubSpot automation, segmentation, and reporting expertise. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in building HubSpot workflows, creating contact segments, and analyzing retention metrics while also collaborating on lifecycle strategy, sales enablement, and client engagement initiatives.
This position is hands?on and data?driven, designed for someone who understands retention marketing mechanics and enjoys collaborating on strategy to improve performance and customer lifetime value. This position provides a great opportunity to join a company experiencing strong year?over?year growth and play a key role in optimizing how we scale customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- HubSpot Workflow Execution: Build, test, and maintain automated workflows across the customer journey (welcome, post?purchase, win?back, re?engagement, loyalty, sunset).
- Contact Segmentation: Create and manage active contact segments, lifecycle stages, and lead scoring using behavioral, transactional, and engagement data.
- Reporting & Insights: Build and maintain HubSpot dashboards and custom reports to monitor retention KPIs, engagement trends, and campaign effectiveness.
- Cross?Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the marketing and sales teams to align HubSpot data and automations with promotional campaigns, email offers, and client communications.
- Data Quality & Database Hygiene: Maintain CRM accuracy and overall database hygiene across HubSpot and connected systems such as Fishbowl Inventory Management. Ensure contact properties, lifecycle stages, reports, and record data are accurate and up to date.
- Mandatory: 2+ years of CRM experience (at least one year of experience with HubSpot), and must be capable of independently building workflow automations, contact segments, and custom reports using HubSpot properties and objects.
- Proven understanding of retention and lifecycle marketing principles, including engagement segmentation and customer reactivation tactics.
- Demonstrated ability to build automated campaigns and analyze performance metrics.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail with CRM data accuracy and HubSpot data sync functions.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM reporting.
- Comfortable working full?time and in?person at our Carlsbad office.
- Experience in Shopify or luxury eCommerce environments.
- Familiarity with inventory management software, Seventh Sense, Klaviyo, and/or other send?time optimization and email analytics tools.
- Background or strong interest in fine wine, luxury goods, or collector markets.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast?paced environment.
- 10 days Personal Time Off (PTO), accrued semi?monthly (90?day waiting period)
