Entry Level Administrative Assistant

Our Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. Come join the fastest growing Division at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), within the Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of enterprise and program level systems engineering, modeling and simulation, cybersecurity, acquisition support, and governance to the Space and National Intelligence community. We provide special policy and security analysis support. We utilize mission-proven, data-driven advisory tools and capabilities. We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting edge technology necessary for our national defense. Our portfolio includes the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Office, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

SPA has a near-term need for an Entry Level Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide executive-level support for senior leadership, including preparing briefings, data, and preparatory materials for senior-level meetings.
  • Develop and manage a monthly roadmap and annual strategy for leadership engagements, aligning with strategic guidance and organizational goals.
  • Draft and edit executive correspondence, synthesizing information into polished, accurate, and timely deliverables for leadership.
  • Create and maintain directorate-level reports, communications, and business documentation such as overviews, year-in-review summaries, and activity reports.
  • Coordinate and facilitate leadership engagements, including meetings, technical reviews, design reviews, forums, and protocol events.
  • Manage task tracking and formal actions through enterprise systems, ensuring responses adhere to organizational standards and are completed on time.

Required qualifications include:

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active TS/SCI + polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing executive-level administrative support in government, military, or large-scale corporate settings
  • Proven ability to create high-quality documentation and presentations tailored to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated experience managing task-tracking systems and synthesizing complex information for executive audiences
  • Reports to Chantilly up to full-time, based upon the needs of the client

Desired qualifications include:

  • Proactive interest in learning new skills and engaging new challenges
  • Strong customer service skills with interest in proactively anticipating and addressing client needs
  • Familiarity with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Department of Defense (DoD), or Intelligence Community (IC) structure, processes, and procedures
  • Expertise in managing and utilizing task-tracking systems such as TIER or equivalent platforms
  • Experience supporting leadership in protocol management for distinguished visitors, VIP visits, or high-level engagements
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint for managing data, reports, and collaborative workflows
