Job Summary: As a PRN Radiology Technologist, you will perform various diagnostic radiographic procedures under the direction of a Physician, ensuring compliance with established protocols. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduled procedures.
- Testing equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Documenting records accurately according to approved policies and procedures.
- Confirming appropriate shielding for all individuals present before activating x-ray equipment.
- Communicating patient information effectively with other staff involved in the patient’s care.
- Maintaining instruments and equipment through proper cleaning, storage, and calibration.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Radiology Tech, preferably in an operating room or surgery center.
- Current ARRT (R) and BLS certification.
- State license as required.
