Job Summary and Qualifications

You will assist the IR supervisor in ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and the proper functioning of radiographic equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining proficiency with all Interventional Radiology equipment to obtain quality images.
  • Complying with radiation safety guidelines for both patients and yourself, using all necessary protective equipment.
  • Performing necessary computer operations to ensure accurate procedural documentation and charges.
  • Delivering professional patient care and explaining procedures clearly to patients.
  • Conducting physical assessments of IVs, catheters, and tubing.
  • Coordinating all Interventional Radiology procedures with the appropriate caregivers.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Graduate from a Vocational School.
  • Must possess either (ARRT-R) Radiography or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification.
