Accounts Payable Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $103,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the accounts payable department and staff in the organization.
- Oversee and ensure completion of all AP team duties including data entry, validation, and processing of company invoices at both community and corporate levels.
- Standardize procedures to generate efficiency in-house and maintain internal processes to ensure successful completion of all AP duties.
- Ensure that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure that the accounts payable and the company's financial obligations are met efficiently.
- Be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Communicate effectively with professionals at all levels.
- Work independently and take initiative.
- A Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting (preferred).
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Possess strong Excel skills.
- Have experience with Yardi accounting system (a plus).
