This role is far from typical desk work Expect to work outdoors, engage with hands-on tasks, and adapt to a variety of weather conditions.
If you're ready to kick-start your new career, consider our 3-month paid training program. Your pay will be reviewed every six months to reward your outstanding performance
As a Technician Trainee, your role will include:
- Receiving paid training through hands-on and classroom instruction, covering:
- Installing and repairing auto glass
- Recalibrating automotive safety systems
- Providing additional services and products
- Studying and passing tests to become a certified Safelite Technician, demonstrating proficiency in installations while maintaining a positive attitude and following best practices.
- Safely operating a company vehicle and utilizing company-issued tools throughout the workday.
What we offer:
- Competitive weekly pay starting at $21.25/hour, which increases to $25.25/hour after training and certification.
- Earn additional income with a $5/set of wiper blades when purchased for customer safety.
- A benefits package valued at over $10k, including a 401(k) plan with company matching, medical plans, paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days.
- Options to buy additional PTO or sell unused time up to 16 hours per year.
- Tuition reimbursement of up to $5,250 annually.

What you need to succeed:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid state-issued driver's license is required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet customer needs.
- Regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent preferred; must have the ability to read and write.
