Your Role:

As a Surgical Technologist I, you play a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient surgical environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing aseptic surgical techniques to prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for various surgical procedures.
  • Maintaining a sterile field and anticipating the surgeon's needs during operations.
  • Setting up the operating room, moving necessary equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Functioning as a Second Assistant when required and notifying staff of any equipment or supply issues.
  • Transporting patients and equipment while adhering to proper lifting and safety techniques.

What We Require:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is expected within 6 months of hire.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and various surgical procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients.
