Are you ready to make a difference in the operating room? We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I who is passionate about providing excellent patient care in a dynamic environment.

Location:
Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Shift: Full-time, evening shifts, with some on-call requirements.

Compensation: Pay Range: $26.10 - $39.15, with a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates and a $2,000 bonus for those specifically working PM shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist with patient positioning and transport.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques in all preoperative and postoperative activities.
  • Handle instruments and supplies with attention to detail to ensure a smooth surgical process.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs during procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • No prior experience is necessary as on-the-job training will be provided.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift/carry patients and equipment and withstand a fast-paced environment. Personal protective equipment is required.
