Position Details:

  • Shift: 2nd - Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Pay Range: $26.10 - $39.15
  • Location: Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
  • Benefits Eligible: Yes
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 eligible with distance-based relocation, $2,000 for PM shifts

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room using aseptic surgical techniques.
  • Assist surgeons by anticipating their needs during various procedures.
  • Set up and disassemble surgical equipment and supplies efficiently.
  • Maintain a specialty cart, ensuring all items are stocked and in working order.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months.
  • No previous experience needed; we will train you

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move patients, equipment, and supplies.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining composure.
  • Be aware of exposure to mechanical, electrical, and biological hazards.
