Here, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional surgical services to patients from various backgrounds.

Position Details:

  • Full-time - Evening shift, with options for 8 or 10-hour shifts.
  • Competitive Pay Range: $26.10 - $39.15
  • Location: Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
  • Eligible for $10,000 Sign-On Bonus with distance-based relocation available, plus $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for PM shifts.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques to set up materials, supplies, and equipment while anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
  • Assist in patient positioning, transporting them, and complying with safety protocols during procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery, effectively communicating with team members and reporting any issues.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months.
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and operating room equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull with 30 lbs. of force, and experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment and adapt to the demands of the operating room.
