Director of Life Sciences Advisory

About the Role:
The Patient Services team provides essential program design, implementation, and oversight services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. We partner with our clients throughout the lifecycle of a product to create tailored Patient Support Programs (PSPs), ensuring that strategic goals are met through robust monitoring solutions.
In this pivotal role, you will be the key person responsible for cultivating and managing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor while driving business growth. Your expertise will be vital in identifying new opportunities within existing clients and leveraging industry connections to enhance our service offerings. You will oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction while mentoring and developing the team at Guidehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive Patient Services Program Blueprints and detailed designs, focusing on customer experience and support levels.
- Identify and integrate emerging digital technologies to enhance Patient Services, addressing ongoing patient and customer needs.
- Advise clients on optimal operating models for Patient Services tailored to specific product and therapeutic area needs.
- Establish methodologies for measuring and benchmarking the effectiveness of PS program performance, providing strategic insights based on metrics analysis.
- Support the operational build-out of in-house and outsourced Patient Support Hubs and related programs, such as financial and treatment management support.
- Scout business development opportunities and actively participate in proposal development and project scoping.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
- 10 years of relevant experience in Life Sciences consulting or a combination of consulting and industry experience.
- Expertise in patient services programs, including design and regulatory/compliance considerations, patient journey development for specialty medications, and change management.
- Proficiency in analytical skills (Excel, Access, etc.) with a strong ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Strong track record of generating revenue and nurturing high-value client relationships.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage projects within timelines, scope, and budget across multiple teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel for client engagements.
- Authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/PhD/PharmD/MD degree.
- Passion for the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create impactful presentations.
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative team-focused approach.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $206,000.00 - $343,000.00, with compensation based on skills, experience, and organizational needs.
