Exciting Sign-On Bonuses

Eligible candidates may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $2,000 sign-on bonus for PM shifts at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient surgical environment utilizing aseptic techniques for surgical procedures.
  • Assist in setting up surgical areas, preparing materials, supplies, and equipment for various procedures.
  • Ensure environmental disinfection, safety, and efficiency in the operating room.
  • Serve as a second assistant during surgeries as needed.
  • Notify staff of any equipment or supply issues.
  • Transport patients and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain specialty carts by checking equipment conditions and ensuring their readiness.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of proper care specific to patients' age-related needs.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.
  • No prior experience required; we welcome new graduates

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and patients according to safety guidelines.
  • Must be able to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and fulfill various physical demands.
  • Exposed to various hazards common in surgical settings, including but not limited to mechanical and chemical hazards.
