Schedule Details:

Full-time evening shifts with 8 or 10-hour options, Monday through Friday, including overnight call and periodic weekend coverage. On-call requirements involve a 30-minute response time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe operating environment while using aseptic surgical techniques.
  • Prepare materials and equipment for surgical procedures and assist the surgical team effectively.
  • Set up and ensure the efficiency of the operating room for each case.
  • Transport patients and handle equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of various surgical procedures and age-specific patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and excellent customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform push/pull tasks, and complete various physical transfers.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to potential hazards including mechanical and biological.
  • Must have functional sight and hearing, and the ability to wear necessary protective gear.
