As a Clinical Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our rapid expansion, overseeing multiple centers and directly supervising Clinical Directors within your market. You will be accountable for achieving performance objectives, managing P&L, promoting growth, and fostering a positive culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee clinical outcomes and daily management of Medical Directors across various centers.
  • Ensure the success of clinical operations and exceed market earnings goals.
  • Mentor and coach Medical Directors to achieve outstanding clinical results.
  • Facilitate the development of PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors through hands-on leadership training.
  • Cultivate a physician culture that aligns with ChenMed's values and service standards.
  • Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for clinical roles.
  • Build relationships with payers, specialists, and the community to enhance operational synergy.
  • Monitor market culture and address workplace concerns promptly.
  • Review and approve center-level referrals, providing backup for market authorizations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support market quality initiatives and performance improvement efforts.
  • Review monthly scorecards and deliver quarterly clinical metric analyses.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the market.
  • Implement strategies for cost reduction and clinical excellence.
  • Provide direct patient care (20% of your time) as a PCP.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Strongly preferred experience as a Medical Director with a Medicare or Medicaid patient population.
  • Board eligibility required; board certification preferred.
  • Current, active medical license in your state.
  • Experience in population risk management and chronic disease management.
  • Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to 30% of the time.
