As an Associate Clinical Director, you will play a crucial role in supervising, performance managing, and training Clinical Directors within your assigned market. You will be accountable for achieving center performance objectives, P&L metrics, growth initiatives, and fostering a positive culture. In this role, you will also engage in direct patient care as a Primary Care Provider (PCP) and take on leadership responsibilities that enhance clinical and operational synergy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Clinical Directors across multiple centers, ensuring outstanding clinical outcomes and smooth daily operations.
  • Mentor and coach Medical Directors to excel in clinical performance.
  • Facilitate talent development for all clinical staff, including NPs and PCPs.
  • Promote a center-level physician culture aligned with ChenMed’s core values and service standards.
  • Assist in training new practitioners, participating in recruitment and interviews for clinical roles.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with payers, specialists, and community organizations.
  • Directly monitor market culture, addressing workplace concerns swiftly.
  • Support market quality improvement initiatives and assist with clinical strategy implementations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Director is strongly preferred.
  • Active medical license in the state of employment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven history of clinical excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster diverse relationships.
  • Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to 30% of the time.
