The Clinical Manager Associate will oversee Clinical Directors within their assigned market, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes and fostering a positive team culture. This role balances direct patient care responsibilities with leadership duties, focusing on team performance, engagement, and clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage Medical Directors across multiple centers to enhance clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure centers meet or exceed performance and financial targets.
  • Mentor and coach Medical Directors and develop clinical leadership within the team.
  • Foster a positive culture aligned with the ChenMed core values and service standards.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of clinical staff, including physicians and specialists.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with external stakeholders, including payers and community organizations.
  • Monitor market culture and address workplace concerns promptly.
  • Provide clinical care as a Primary Care Physician (20% of time), ensuring excellent patient service.

As part of this role, additional tasks may include:

  • Supporting performance improvement initiatives and quality metrics analysis.
  • Facilitating training for new practitioners and other ChenMed entities.
  • Utilizing local market insights to drive clinical initiatives effectively.
  • Assisting with clinical strategies and cost reduction efforts.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • MD or DO in a relevant specialty required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Experience as a Medical Director in a Medicare/Medicaid setting is highly desirable.
  • Board eligibility required; board certification preferred.
  • Current medical license in the state of employment.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage clinical teams effectively.
  • Experience with population risk management and chronic disease care.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with EMR systems.
  • Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to 30% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits:

$250,426 - $357,752 Salary
