Position: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics & Aquatics
Location: NovaCare Rehabilitation - Frederick, Maryland
Schedule: Part-Time | Late Afternoons & Evenings (2:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
Compensation: $31.00/hour

Our team of dedicated clinicians is passionate about providing innovative, life-changing care, and we're excited to welcome a new Licensed Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to our aquatics program.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Licensed Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team, primarily treating patients in our aquatic therapy program , with occasional orthopedic caseloads. This role is ideal for a clinician with prior aquatics experience. We are also open to new graduate PTAs who have completed an aquatics rotation and are eager to grow in this specialty.

Responsibilities
-
Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
-
Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
-
Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
-
College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
-
Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
-
Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
-
CPR certification
