Entry-Level Staff Physical Therapist

Position Summary

The Entry-Level Staff Physical Therapist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality physical therapy services at True Sports. The focus is on effective patient evaluation and treatment to help individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will be responsible for developing treatment plans, implementing therapy techniques, and ensuring thorough documentation of patient progress.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of athletes' injuries, medical histories, and physical conditions.
  • Create and customize treatment plans that prioritize restoring function, alleviating pain, and preventing further injuries.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to support optimal recovery from musculoskeletal issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with athletes, coaches, and healthcare professionals to refine and enhance treatment strategies.
  • Educate and guide clients on injury prevention, exercise techniques, and self-management methods.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans to ensure patients meet their rehabilitation objectives.
  • Maintain precise, up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Engage in community marketing and outreach initiatives, including schools, clubs, and fitness centers.
  • Manage your schedule to ensure effective patient appointments and follow-ups.
  • Keep a clean and organized work environment throughout the day.

Requirements

  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
  • Valid state license for practice.
  • Experience in strength and conditioning.
  • Preferred Certifications: CSCS, PES, ATC, USAW, SCS, OCS, Cert DN.

The role involves working in both office and clinical environments.
