Construction Estimator

Are you a detail-driven construction professional with a passion for accuracy, problem-solving, and helping projects come to life? We’re looking for an Experienced Construction Estimator to join our growing team in Southeast Michigan.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to create detailed scopes of work for all work divisions
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering options
- Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and proposal development
- Evaluate and qualify subcontractor bids for optimal project cost creation
- Present budgets, schedules, and project cost summaries to prospective and/or existing clients
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years experience as a commercial construction estimator
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Construction Management/Civil Engineering
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documents
- Proficiency with estimating/takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) as well as Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, analytical, time management, and organizational skills
- Commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Commercial construction field experience preferred

Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $85,000–$100,000, with additional earning potential through annual bonuses and company profit-sharing.
