Senior Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $120,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Generate weekly vendor check runs, analysis of A/P and unvouchered subledger
- Daily invoicing of shipments, submit invoices to customers, daily processing of cash receipts
- Collections and processing of prepayment and credit cards, oversee credit holds
- Analysis of all past due invoices and assist in collection activities, maintain reconciliations and transactions
- Month-end closings, year-end closing, and account reconciliations
- Responsible for entire payroll process
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, written and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of various computer programs including Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
