Description - Your Daily Impact
- Conduct routine and advanced tests in clinical labs-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
- Evaluate test results for precision, identify errors, and ensure regular maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
- Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare them accurately for testing as required.
- Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff, and maintain high standards of laboratory quality.
- Ensure a clean and safe workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.
- ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within one year of employment.
- Maintain active certification throughout your time with us.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for productive collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
