Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about the construction industry and has a strong background in accounting and finance. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for helping process the daily financial operations of the company. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $100,00 to $110,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Month End Close, Daily Operational Accounting support including high focus on billing, collections and management of receivables.
- Manage the accounting team, including hiring and training staff, assigning tasks and responsibilities, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
- Participate in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, and monitor actual results against projections.
- Maintain positive relationships with internal external stakeholders, including vendors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage and issue construction liens and intent to lien in order to minimize past due balances on both standard and job-related invoices.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
Experience:
- Construction Accounting Experience
- Month End Close GAAP experience
- Full AR Collections Billing confidence at a hands-on level
- Supervisory Experience highly desired at least in a lead capacity
