We have exciting opportunities available for School Bus or Van Drivers

Currently, we are hiring in Nassau County, Long Island. A CDL license is beneficial, and if you do not possess one, we offer Paid CDL Training to get you started

What We Provide:

  • Flexible Schedule: Enjoy split-shifts with morning and afternoon hours.
  • Guaranteed Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Paid CDL Permit Training to assist you on your journey.
  • $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for fully licensed NY CDL drivers holding A, B, or C licenses with P & S endorsements.
  • Starting Pay Rate: $24.25/hour for School Bus Van Drivers; $28.50/hour for School Bus Drivers (CDL A or B with P & S Endorsement Required).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a school bus or van for transporting students.
  • Monitor traffic and road conditions, ensuring a safe and smooth ride.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be age 21 or older with at least 1 year of driving experience.
  • Must possess a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses or Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (or willingness to train).
  • Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and comply with CDL regulations.
  • Non-CDL drivers must hold a valid driver's license and complete CDL permit training.
