Engineering Technician with Security Clearance

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an - Engineering Technician Position Type: Full time Contract. Duration: 5 Months Location: Rochester, NY As an - Engineering Technician, you will: Perform a variety of operations including the assembly & integration of complex electromechanical space flight components. Working directly with engineers on the design and development of new and existing products, to optimize design for manufacturability, cable, and harness builds, as well as soldering of components. Experience in manufacturing and/or prototyping environment. Able to read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics and detailed work instructions. Operating Mills, surface grinder and lathe. Ability to maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation. Demonstrates appropriate computer knowledge. Understands and adheres to established policies, procedures and proper labor charging practices. Able to perform as an individual contributor as well as within a team environment. Able to be certified to all IPC, JSTD, or comparable NASA certifications. Mechanically inclined and able to work with very fragile electronic assemblies under a microscope. The ideal candidate will have: HS Diploma/GED and 4 years' experience Proficient with operating Mills, surface grinder and lathe.
