Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking an Engineering Technician C to join our team.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs troubleshooting of complex digital and RF fixtures, including dismantling, adjusting, repairing, calibrating, aligning, assembling, and operating according to engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation
  • First line of defense in resolving daily test issues impacting troubleshoot, environmental, or up flow test for manufacturing and operations
  • Monitors station utilization and downtime and reports out to the TE Lead
  • Assists manufacturing technicians by answering questions and providing training on test systems and troubleshooting tools
  • Create/Update station documentation items such as MTP's, Station BOM's, AMR's, and TSW's
  • Works in conjunction with PM coordinator and Calibration Monitor to maintain proper spare parts inventory for the FF test stations
  • Troubleshoot complex digital and RF test systems
  • Responds to operations support requests in the resolution of test issues impacting production
  • Supports individual contributor--Works under limited supervision
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Understanding of manufacturing systems, production processes technical standards and equipment
  • 2 years of experience reading schematics and troubleshooting to component level
  • Experience using MS Word and Excel
  • Experience with LabView
  • Experience with internal and external customers


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington State and New York State is $24.52-$45.43. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
