Description - Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
  • Ensure accuracy of results, address errors, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
  • Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples when necessary.
  • Thoroughly document all procedures, train new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
  • Uphold a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.
Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree combined with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
Certifications Required
  • ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within one year of hire.
  • Must maintain current certification throughout the duration of your employment.
