Your Role - Discover What Awaits
- Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and additional disciplines-adhering to established protocols.
- Evaluate results meticulously for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance alongside calibration on laboratory instruments.
- Support specimen collection while meticulously preparing samples for examination as required.
- Thoroughly document all processes, assist in training new team members or students, and maintain the lab's high quality standards.
- Ensure a clean and secure workplace while abiding by all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
- ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
- Ensure current certification is maintained throughout employment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate effective teamwork within healthcare settings.
- Able to utilize independent judgment and problem-solving skills in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
