**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Med Techs to join our team for the 1st shift on a full-time basis. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being in a nurturing environment. As a Caregiver/Med Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities and administering medications as required, all while providing genuine companionship to our residents.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
- Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
- Monitor and document residents' health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare practitioner.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
- Engage with residents in a friendly and supportive manner to promote emotional and social well-being.
- Assist with daily activities and escort residents to and from meals and activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and medication administration is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
