**Job Title: Caregiver/Med Techs - 1st Shift - Full-time** **Location:** Addington Place of Mount Pleasant, Iowa **Job Description:** We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Med Techs to join our team for the 1st shift on a full-time basis. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being in a nurturing environment. As a Caregiver/Med Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities and administering medications as required, all while providing genuine companionship to our residents. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.- Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.- Monitor and document residents' health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare practitioner.- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.- Engage with residents in a friendly and supportive manner to promote emotional and social well-being.- Assist with daily activities and escort residents to and from meals and activities.- Maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Basic understanding of medical terminology and medication administration is a plus.- Ability to work independently and within a team.- Current CPR and First Aid certifications preferred. **Benefits:** - Competitive salary and benefits package.- Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.- Supportive and friendly work environment.- Access to continued education and training programs.
