As an R&D Process Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring new product designs are manufacturable, scalable, and built for long-term success.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop robust assembly methods, and lead technology transfer from development to production - driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement every step of the way.

What You'll Do
  • Champion Manufacturability: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to embed manufacturability early in design and avoid costly late-stage changes.
  • Develop & Validate Processes: Create, document, and validate assembly processes that meet yield, efficiency, and quality goals.
  • Design Tooling & Equipment: Specify and implement fixtures, tooling, and equipment that enable scalable production.
  • Lead Technology Transfer: Own the transition from development to production through training, documentation, and process qualification.
  • Partner Across Teams: Serve as a key liaison between R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to ensure process readiness.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to optimize workflows, reduce variability, and enhance product quality.
What You'll Bring
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing or process engineering (contract manufacturing preferred).
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
    • Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
    • Experience with ISO, cGMP, and ISO 13485 environments preferred.
    • Skilled in statistical analysis, DOEs, and Minitab.
