An R&D Assembly Technician II works with cutting-edge products and is responsible for following written and demonstrated procedures to build products and components. You'll apply your technical skills and prior assembly experience to operate specialized equipment, maintain documentation, and ensure quality standards are met.

What You'll Do
An R&D Assembly Technician II, you'll play a key role in building advanced medical products with precision and care. This position requires hands-on expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment. You'll operate specialized equipment, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure that every component meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Assemble small, intricate parts with precision, following written procedures
- Operate advanced equipment such as adhesive dispensers, vertical shrinkers, braiders, tipping machines, drilling/punching tools, and measuring devices
- Maintain accurate records of materials, procedures, and inspection features on supplied data forms (LHR, etc.)
- Track materials, tools, and processes throughout manufacturing
- Verify incoming materials meet purchase order specifications
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers and teammates
- Uphold safety standards and company policies at all times
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all safety requirements
What You'll Bring
- Associate degree or higher, or equivalent experience
- 2-9 years in assembly (medical device assembly preferred)
- Plastic part assembly, adhesive bonding, prototyping, and materials knowledge
- Comfortable working with computers and documentation systems
- Ability to read, listen to, and follow instructions in English
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality with dexterity for small parts
