Job Description:

Pay Range: $74.75hr - $79.75hr
  • The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for analyzing market trends, developing category strategies, and leading supplier negotiations to optimize sourcing efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • This role collaborates closely with stakeholders and legal teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and contractual agreements while driving strategic sourcing initiatives across global operations.
Responsibilities:
  • nalyze market and category trends along with historical spending patterns to identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and contract (re)negotiations.
  • Make well-judged, independent decisions considering both short- and long-term business impacts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and legal counsel to lead global negotiations and manage contract coordination.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen with a deep understanding of contractual provisions and their implications from both business and legal perspectives.
  • ct as a liaison between contracting entities, legal teams, and other relevant parties.
  • Consistently meet or exceed project goals, timelines, and deliverables across multiple simultaneous initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of category strategies through competitive bidding, optimization, process enhancements, or sole-source negotiations.
  • Research and compile relevant market information to support category strategies and sourcing decisions.
  • Develop optimal category strategies considering risks, shortfalls, and mitigation plans.
  • Manage projects effectively with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Technology Requirements:
  • None required.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications in supply chain or procurement are desirable but not required.
