We are a reputable medical practice specializing in the evaluation of patients with swallowing disorders, seeking dedicated physicians to join our expanding team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, accommodating various levels of experience. We offer paid training to ensure you are well-prepared for your role.
Our practice is part of a broader network with locations in different regions, having started in Houston in March 2005 and since expanded significantly. We currently manage a monthly census of approximately 2,300 patients, supported by a talented staff of 70, including physicians and speech-language pathologists.
Benefits and Annual Income:
- Compensation for 4 to 5 working days a week is projected to be between $160,000 to $225,000 or more, based on patient volume.

- Malpractice insurance and tail coverage are fully handled by the practice.
- With over 400,000 evaluations over 19 years, we boast a perfect record, with no malpractice inquiries.
Midwest Dysphagia Consultants is committed to offering comprehensive dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallows for patients with swallowing challenges. Our services are delivered through a unique mobile unit, allowing us to effectively reach various facilities, private practices, and homebound patients.
Requests for swallowing studies are efficiently managed, with a scheduling success rate of 95% within 24 to 72 hours of receipt, often on the same day depending on daily volume and location. Our goal is to have our team home by 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM each day.
