As a Clinical Nurse II, you will play a vital role in fostering a compassionate and caring environment for our patients, their families, and your colleagues. Your commitment to kindness and active listening will contribute to the overall success of our mission and the exceptional care we provide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively implement physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, perform various treatments, procedures, and assessments, while documenting in accordance with company policy and all relevant regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to thoroughly assess patient conditions.
- Regularly assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to the care provided.
- Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions.
- Offer primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as directed.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel while upholding the highest standards of professional nursing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree).
- Must possess a current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required.
- Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.
- Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and problem-solving techniques is preferred.
