OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage service requests and renewals: Collaborate with producers and clients to establish renewal expectations, complete renewal applications, submit thorough carrier submissions, and prepare accurate proposals, binders, invoices, and policy documents.
  • Ensure policy accuracy and compliance: Review quotes, endorsements, audits, and issued policies; handle certificates of insurance (COIs), contract reviews, and compliance issues; and order endorsements or premium financing as needed.
  • Maintain strong communication and organization: Provide timely, professional follow-up with clients, carriers, producers, and peers while effectively managing workload using company systems and procedures.
  • Collaborate and contribute to team success: Participate in renewal meetings, assist with mentoring and training Account Assistants, and support team members as assigned.
  • Stay current and compliant: Maintain active certifications, complete required training, and remain knowledgeable about carrier underwriting requirements and authority guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of insurance industry experience
  • 1+ years of experience at the Account Manager level (preferred)
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Agent's License in applicable state(s)
  • Industry-related certifications expected
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

Salary range is $38 to $40 per hour based on experience.
