About the Role

Classified IT Operations supporting the Space IT Applications team is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to deploy and sustain applications in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will be involved in the full application deployment lifecycle-requirements, design, implementation, integration, installation, and testing. Typical responsibilities include implementing applications for classified environments, maintaining and debugging systems or interfaces, and acting as a liaison between classified programs and unclassified applications.

Responsibilities
  • Deploy and sustain applications in classified environments
  • Participate in full application lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, integration, installation, and testing
  • Maintain and debug current systems and interfaces
  • Serve as liaison between classified and unclassified applications
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues at the application layer
  • Collaborate with team members to learn and apply technical skills quickly
  • Manage priorities and deliver exceptional customer service
Minimum Qualifications
  • CompTIA Security+ or DoD IAT Level II certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues at the application layer
  • Experience in enterprise environments (compute, storage, network, database)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQL Server) and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Agile development and DevOps concepts
  • Experience with scripting/programming languages (C#, Java, Bash)
  • Experience deploying enterprise applications (Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Teamwork Cloud, Tableau)
  • Experience with container development and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with Ansible
  • Knowledge of network-attached storage systems
  • Experience managing compute environments (VMware, Hyper-V, OpenShift)
