Full Time School Bus Driver with Sign-on Bonus

Join Leesel Transportation Corp. as a School Bus Driver and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students in your community. As a driver, your primary responsibility will be to transport clients safely and punctually from their pickup points to their destinations. This includes performing pre-trip inspections, post-route child checks, and adhering to DOT regulations.

What We Offer:
- Flexible Schedule: Enjoy a split-shift format with morning and afternoon shifts.
- Guaranteed Hours: Work a consistent 40 hours per week.
- FREE CDL Training: Obtain your CDL B Permit with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement and/or CDL C with N2 Restrictions.
- $5,000 Sign-on Bonus: Available for fully licensed NY CDL drivers with A or B licenses with P & S endorsements. This offer is limited to applicants for the Brooklyn location.
- Weekly Pay: Earn $947.60 guaranteed (CDL A, B or C with P and S Endorsement required).

Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a school bus or van, providing safe and timely transport for students.
- Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior to ensure a secure ride.
- Comply with all relevant traffic laws and district standards.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum age of 21 with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Possess a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses or a Class C with P & S endorsements for vans, or be willing to obtain through our free training.
- Ability to pass drug tests, background checks, and comply with all state and federal CDL guidelines.
- Non-CDL drivers must hold a valid driver's license with CDL B Permit with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement to complete CDL training.
