Family Law Paralegal

Job Description

We are a family law firm seeking an on-site Family Law Paralegal to become a part of our team You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs and to assist the paralegals in responding to the required initial disclosures, Inventory & Appraisement on all cases, including responding to or requesting interrogatories; request for production, request for admissions. Will be meeting with clients to retrieve supporting documents, or emails; organize and categorize; scan to folder. Calendar receipt and due dates. 1-2 years experience is preferred but not required.

** Responsibilities:**

• Conduct research to support legal proceedings
• Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
• Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
• Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Record and store client information

• Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
• Familiarity with legal research
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented

I have been profiled by San Antonio Woman for my personal commitment to guiding people through legal challenges. I have also given motivational speeches to various audiences, including students at St. Mary's University.
