Clinical Pharmacist - Panama City, FL
Location: Panama City, FL
Shifts: Mixed Shift - 6:00 AM-4:30 PM & 9:30 AM-8:00 PM
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and verify physician orders accurately and efficiently.
- Compound and dispense medications per regulatory and department standards.
- Monitor drug therapy for interactions, contraindications, allergies, and dosing appropriateness.
- Support formulary management and promote rational, cost-effective drug therapy.
- Provide medication counseling and information to healthcare staff and patients.
- Perform clinical functions including:
- Drug consults
- Nutrition support
- Pharmacokinetics
- Anticoagulant monitoring
- IV-to-PO conversions
- Renal dosing adjustments
- Pain management support
- Document all clinical interventions accurately.
- Report and document medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
- Supervise daily pharmacy operations and support the pharmacy team.
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital Clinical Pharmacist experience (must be within the past year).
- B.S. Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Active Florida Pharmacist license (or ability to obtain before start date).
Hourly Rate:
- Minimum: $58.15/hr
- Midpoint (10 years): $66.88/hr
- Maximum (15+ years): $73.56/hr
- Evenings: +$3.00/hr
- Nights: +$6.00/hr
- $10,000 , paid in 5 installments over 24 months
- $2,000 at onboarding (1st or 2nd paycheck)
- $2,000 at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months
