Compensation:
  • Base pay: $58.15 - $73.56/hr (experience-based)
  • Shift differentials: $3.00/hr evenings, $6.00/hr nights
  • Sign-on bonus: $10,000 paid in installments over 24 months
  • Relocation assistance: Case-by-case
Job Summary

The Clinical Pharmacist provides general clinical pharmacy services and supervises technical staff within a fast-paced acute care environment. The role includes interpreting and verifying medication orders, compounding and dispensing medications, monitoring drug therapy, and delivering accurate medication information to healthcare teams and patients.
Responsibilities
  • Interpret, verify, and enter medication orders into the pharmacy system
  • Accurately compound and dispense medications
  • Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and dose appropriateness
  • Support medication stewardship and maintain formulary compliance
  • Provide timely and accurate medication information to staff and patients
  • Assist with clinical services, including:
    • Drug consults
    • Nutrition support
    • Pharmacokinetics
    • Anticoagulation management
    • Pain management
    • IV-to-PO conversions
    • Renal dosing
  • Document clinical activities and interventions
  • Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions
  • Supervise pharmacy operations and support technical staff
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care hospital pharmacist experience required
  • B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate state board
  • Strong ability to function independently in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
  • Candidates with hospital experience are highly preferred

Pay Details: $58.15 to $73.56 per hour
