Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our dedicated pharmacy team. In this role, you will provide general clinical and pharmacy services while supervising technical staff to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care across all hospital departments.
You'll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret, verify, and accurately enter physician orders.
- Compound and dispense medications with precision and efficiency.
- Monitor therapy for drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy.
- Sustain the hospital formulary and promote evidence-based medication use.
- Provide medication information and clinical support to staff and patients.
- Participate in clinical programs such as pharmacokinetics, nutrition support, anticoagulation management, renal dosing, and more.
- Document all interventions and report medication errors/adverse events.
- Support and supervise pharmacy operations and personnel.
- Education: B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy (required)
- Licensure: Active Pharmacist License in good standing (required)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience (required)
- Experience is a strong plus
- Skills: Self-starter with solid clinical judgment, teamwork, and leadership ability
- Reports To: Director of Pharmacy
- Department: Central Pharmacy
